I got the “Your iPhone is all set” email. So it looks like they are sending me a replacement phone after FedEx failed to deliver/lost my phone. So that’s good news. Now waiting for them to ship it again. Hopefully you will get sent a replacement phone soon too.

Thanks Vutang; we are experiencing the same sequence it seems, they said Tuesday they would order/ship a new one (but I didn't get the "Your iPhone is all Set" email yet)

Yes if you have open the corresponding usd account - *only for self directed accounts

Tried to do this today, and was told no dice unfortunately. Apparently it's a web order device and the refund would have to go back to the original purchaser (without the receipt) so the refund would just go back to Wealthsimple.

I received my shipping confirmation on March 1, stating that the carrier was UPS and that my shipment was scheduled for March 5. Then, on March 4, I received an email from UPS that the package would arrive March 5th by end of day. Then the weirdness begins; I received an email from UPS on March 5th:

I didn’t reschedule anything and I work from home!!

Haven’t heard anything since, however, the UPS time stamps have been edited on their site, from saying out for delivery to showing that the package is Processing at UPS facility.

Anyone dealing with this nonsense? Seems unacceptable to edit time stamped weighpoints. Is Wealthsimple aware of this issue?

Thanks, called WS, US$ contribution can be done, but only at their end, take 5-10 business days, can’t do it directly in app.

I doubt it. The IP15 promotion is very generous compare to other brokerages. Can’t see them doing it every year.
Maybe AirPod or a watch is my guess.

Only Option is sell for substantially less than retail, and buy a larger phone.. I assume most markets like Calgary are flooded with Iphone 15's, and the average selling price is $800 - $850
